4DØT System

The 4DØT System is intended to be a system that can be used for many settings, but in the current version we will be focusing on the fantasy setting as a way to get started with an introduction. The documents will likely be changing quite a bit as the system is built out and becomes more well defined.

The 4DØT: Fantasy game uses a "Retro-Tech-Fantasy" setting for those that are interested in blending the imaginative elements of traditional fantasy worlds with the cultural and technological backdrop of the 1980s. The game includes spell casting, magic weapons, and old school analog technology. This tech includes VCR’s, calculator wrist watches, boom-boxes, and other retro-futuristic gadgets. The computer displays are low res and glitchy, the connections are hard wired, and magic flows through everything. So rewind your favorite cassette and get ready to dive into some bodacious stories.
